Trans-Asia Oil and Energy Development Corporation has won contracts to develop three hydropower plants with a combined capacity of 320MW across the Philippines.
According to reports from InterAksyon, the Department of Energy awarded the Phinma Group company service contracts for a 300MW project in Pililia, Rizal, a 10MW project in Ilagen, Isabela, and a further 10MW scheme in Buguias, Benguet.
The contracts include a two year pre-development clause which will allow Trans-Asia to carry out feasibility studies for the three projects.
