Microvi and MWH Global Bring Water Technologies to Australia and Asia Pacific
A treatment technology company, Microvi Biotechnologies, is partnering with a wet infrastructure firm, MWH Global, to bring its revolutionary water technologies to Australia and the Asia Pacific, according to a press release.
Building on a number of commercial projects already operating in Australia, Microvi and MWH are working on projects that deal with the treatment of wastewater removing organic carbon and ammonia and a variety of pollutants in water, including nitrate.
Future plans include working with three major water utilities in the Asia Pacific to build large-scale demonstration plants that will incorporate Microvi’s technologies based on its proprietary MicroNiche Engineering platform.
“We are pleased to be partnering with such a strong, forward-thinking company to help bring effective, transformative solutions to the water and wastewater industry in the Asia Pacific,” said Dr. Fatemeh Shirazi, CEO of Microvi.
