This order follows Leitwind’s recent completion of the supply, erection and commissioning of a wind farm of a capacity of 43.2 MW in Tadipatri in Andhra Pradesh for Orient Green Power Company Limited.
Leitwind will be in charge of procuring of land, designing, manufacturing, supplying, installing, testing, commissioning the machines, and will also take care of the operation and maintenance of farm, a statement from the company said. The order is to be executed over a period of 10 months.
“The prospects of the sector are looking up once more with the resumption of regulatory incentives and we are confident that we will be able to build on our position in the segment. Timely and effective execution of such orders from marquee clients will help us to further enhance our track record,” P Ashok, managing director of Leitwind Shriram Manufacturing Limited, said.
