Huadian Power’s 483MW RE Installs

Chinese utility Huadian Power International Corp Ltd (SHA:600027) said Wednesday it has recently hooked to the domestic grid wind and photovoltaic (PV) parks with a combined capacity of 482.9 MW.

The company put on stream five wind farms, totalling 279.4 MW, in Shandong province and 149.5 MW in Ningxia Hui autonomous region. Overall, subsidiary Huadian Power International Ningxia New Energy Power Co Ltd operates wind power facilities with a combined capacity of 1,242 MW in Ningxia.

In the meantime, Huadian Power also completed three Hebei solar power plants of 54 MW in total.

The Beijing-based company, part of China Huadian Corp, is active in the production of electricity, heat and coal at home. It has was also given the green light from the relevant governmental departments for the construction of a number of projects, including 367.5 MW of wind and 50 MW of PV parks, according to the statement.
