EnVerv Establishes Taiwanese Base to Support Smart Grid Markets

US-based EnVerv has unveiled its regional office in the Taiwanese city of Taipei to support smart grid markets. The new office is expected to serve a growing customer base in Taiwan developing advanced metering infrastructure (AMI) systems for the domestic and international smart grid markets.

EnVerv Asia Pacific VP and general manager Edwin Chen, who will be the boss of the new office, said it will augment the firm’s effort to expand its customer base in Taiwan and worldwide.

“Not only is the domestic Smart Gird market in Taiwan about to take a giant leap forward, Taiwan being one of the major export hubs in the world will also play a strategic role in providing other markets in the region and beyond with advanced Smart Grid and AMI systems,” Chen added.

EnVerv president Reza Mirkhani stated, “Our office in Taiwan will be instrumental in providing expanded services to our customers here and in the region.”
