The two companies came together today to sign the deal, which was structured as an asset purchase and is expected close at the end of August, 2015. Through this transaction, Cyient continues to build on its growth strategy for the Asia Pacific region, specifically in aftermarket services for the aerospace industry. A leader in aerospace engineering, Cyient has built a strong presence over the years in mechanical and manufacturing engineering, as well as software, systems and electronics, in addition to aftermarket services. Cyient Asia Pacific is headquartered in Melbourne, Australia and has 11 sales and delivery locations across the region supporting various industries.
