ReGen to up the stakes for India blade production

ReGen Powertech Pvt., India’s third- largest supplier of wind turbines, plans to invest 1.85 billion rupees ($34 million) to expand into production of turbine blades at a plant in Rajasthan state.

The plant in Udaipur currently makes towers, generators and nacelles for wind turbines, Managing Director Madhusudan Khemka said late yesterday in Chennai.
