Jointly organized by China Electricity Council and Adsale Exhibition Services Ltd, the largest electric power fair in China EP Shanghai 2013 (The International Exhibition on Electric Power Equipment and Technology) and EPA 2013 (The International Exhibition on Electric Power Automation Equipment and Technology) will gather 1,000 world-class international suppliers and new brands to showcase the latest equipment and technology at Shanghai World Expo Exhibition & Convention Centre during October 30 – November 1, 2013.
Addressed by the government, China is aiming to develop low-carbon economy. For energy saving and to enhance the efficiency of power transmission, the State Grid Corporation of China mentioned that it is a “Must” to deploy Ultra High Voltage (UHV) smart grids in China’s electric power development, and plan to invest RMB 620 billion in UHV smart grid infrastructures in the coming 5 years. In order to provide foresight information and for this big project, EP Shanghai 2013 has specially set up the “Smart Grid” theme zone at the fairground. In addition, the organizer and the State Grid Corp of China will hold the “2013 Smart Grid Conference” to provide an interactive information exchange platform for major power corporations. On the other hand, theme zones on “Instrumentation & Metering”, “Electric Power Automation” and “Cable & Wire” are featured to display the advanced technology of respective categories.

Concurrent Expo at Heatec China & Boiler Shanghai 2013
Asia’s renowned exhibition of the heating and heat power industry, Heatec China 2013 (The International Exhibition on Heating and Heat Power Technology 2013 and Boiler Shanghai 2013 (The 11th China (Shanghai) International Exhibition on Boiler Technology), will be held concurrently with EP Shanghai 2013.
